Plutarch) adopt different auctorial stances, which also condition their use of the terms teletè and mustèria: the co-occurrence of the two terms related to Dionysus in Antoninus Liberalis contrasts with the references in ps. Apollodorus to the Eleusinian and Dionysian mysteries, nor can it be assimilated with the reference, in the De fluviis of the ps. Plutarch, to various deities and their cult. The comparison between these three texts thus shows the lexical manipulations which the terms teletè and musteria allowed in the second and third centuries A.D. among erudite authors. It also invites us to reflect on the existence and dissemination of stories associated with mysteries: why did mythographers not report any mysteric myths?Les auteurs du corpus mythographique d’époque impériale (Antoninus Liberalis, ps. Apollodore et ps. Plutarque) adoptent des postures d’autorité différentes, qui conditionnent également l’emploi chez eux des termes teletè et mustèria : l’emploi simultané des deux termes en rapport avec Dionysos chez Antoninus Liberalis contraste avec les références du ps.
